Growing up in the Northeastern U.S., fishing was the glue of Seth’s family. He and his brothers fished inland and offshore with their father. When they weren’t angling, they were obsessive about studying techniques and prepping gear for their next outing.
Seth is a pioneer in daytiming for swordfish, where he targets the giants on the bottom in 1,500 to 2,000 feet of water. It is one of the most technically advanced fisheries in the world, and Seth and his crew (which still includes his brothers) have led the way in establishing the techniques to be successful.
Seth chases the idea of being a complete angler, following the spawning seasons of different species from the Bahamas to Nova Scotia. He is energized by the chase, perfecting the techniques and by the new challenges that come every few months as the fisheries change.
Seth is a master brand ambassador for Shimano fishing, and runs the program’s southeast region.
